For this surfing magazine concept, the design revolves around showcasing the natural beauty and vibrant colors of the ocean. The layout is intentionally minimalistic, allowing the stunning photography to take center stage. The color scheme is carefully curated to complement the teals and blues found in the ocean. Each page is thoughtfully designed to balance text and imagery, ensuring that the reader's focus remains on the captivating scenes of the surf, the waves, and the coastal environment. The result is a magazine that feels as immersive as a day spent on the waves.
PIPELINE SURF MAGAZINE CONCEPT
LASTWAVE ORIGINALS
Last Wave Originals is an apparel website featuring classic surf brands. The existing logo appears somewhat outdated. My design revitalizes this vintage brand by incorporating a rounded font and a carefully curated, limited color palette that evokes a timeless, vintage aesthetic.
MAVERICKS HOCKEY
The California Mavericks Hockey Club, where the logo brings the thrill of the ice and the excitement of Top Gun together. This team embodies the spirit of competition and camaraderie, just like the legendary pilots from the movie.
HOME JERSEY
With red as the main color, this jersey was created with a nod to Top Gun. The bold red design commands attention and sets them apart from the crowd.
AWAY JERSEY
Stealth Mode
With the black and charcoal gray camo and crimson red, this jersey is the optimal choice for stealth mode. Perfect for those who want to blend in and still stand out.
NIGHTWOLF
Team Nightwolf is a lower division co-ed hockey team named after the Nightwolf character from Mortal Kombat. This jersey isn’t just about looking good; it’s all about embracing that warrior vibe while keeping it comfy and stylish.
RAPHAEL
Raphael. The most aggressive of the four demanded an aggressive logo and theme to match. This Ninja Turtles x Blackhawks x Wild cross really leans into that. The darker reds and sharp angles make this the perfect crest for the angriest team in the league.
DONATELLO
Team Donatello. The league went with different Ninja Turtles as their team names. This Ninja Turtles x Mighty Ducks cross is one for the ages. The Ducks classic eggplant and teal was turned into Donatello purple and turtle green.
