THE PROCESS: BEFORE & AFTER
By using the original packaging file, I created maps and alpha's for each material - color, flavor, gold, iridescence and varnish. Layers are separated in Illustrator, then brought into Photoshop where the black and white is created. They are then applied as materials in Cinema4D using the node based editor to create the final product. The final result is a realistic looking package that will live on the website.

STATE VARIANTS
Each state has a different set of rules and regulations regarding the packaging and warning labels of cannabis and hemp products. Seen here is the variation in California, Michigan and Missouri. Some states allow full color and designs of the packaging, whereas others do not allow any color or design and all packaging must remain black and white.
PRODUCT DISPLAYS
I created models of our new product display concepts, and then added our new products. These will be shown to dispensaries in the catalog as an option to display our products in their stores.
